Student Eligibility for Research (STEM Research Track)
To be eligible for receiving one of the summer research fellowships, you should meet the following eligibility criteria:

To be eligible to receive one of the summer research fellowships, you should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the transferable math and science courses completed
- Have completed a one-year major sequence in Biology, Chemistry, Math or Physics, with a grade of “B” (3.0) or better, prior to the start of the research internship
- At least 18 years of age by July 1, 2024
- Submit an application describing academic goals along with other required documents as stated on the application
- Post-baccalaureate students are ineligible to apply
In addition to the above criteria, students’ character, overall academic performance, motivation, and commitment to research will be considered for selection into the program.
Important Dates:
- Application Due Date: Tuesday, April 9, 2024
- Program Dates: June 24- August 16, 2024
- This is a full-time 8-week long summer program. You cannot take classes or be working during the research duration.
