Josie Guillen

Josie Guillen is a re-entry student at Mt. SAC, she has returned to school in order to get a Degree in World & Global Languages and a Degree in Business Administration. She knows that studying the technical skills as well as the unique ways different cultures communicate, that it will enhance her worldview and ability to successfully communicate in a meaningful way with a wide variety of people.
Along with her chosen fields of study, Josie has been a true supporter of the MMMC. She has learned all we have to share about Personal Finance and how to be a smart shopper. The MMMC Workshops have helped her to prepare to buy a new car and home. Josie has said “As a single female, this knowledge has helped me to become a more thoughtful consumer; I am now confident in my ability to make informed decisions that impact my day-to-day decisions. The patience and dedication that the MMMC $taff provide are exceptional, I highly recommend the Workshops to anyone who cares about understanding Money Management.” Josie of ten attends the same Workshop more than once stating that ‘they are packed with such great information.’ One of her favorite features of the MMMC is the guest speakers because they bring in even more financial wisdom to share with participants.

Christa
Rodriguez:

Christa Rodriguez graduated from Mt. SAC in 2018, whereupon she transferred to Cal State Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). Having completed her bachelor’s degree majoring in Physical Education with a minor in Psychology in the Spring of 2021, she has returned to Mt. SAC to enroll in a few Business Classes as she waits for her Graduate program to begin in the Fall of 2022. Her ultimate goal is to become a Chiropractor and have her own private practice. The combined business and service goals are what led Christa to the MMMC, having attended all of our Workshops she has learned how to save for Graduate school. “I have learned specific tips when it comes to savings and learning how to manage my debt by using the bank rate calculators. I am truly grateful for the MMMC.”
