Services & Benefits
The Rising Scholars Program provides educational assistance to Mt. SAC students who
have been negatively affected by the U.S. judicial system. The program utilizes an
asset-based methodology to assists students' development through education. Our services
and benefits help students to achieve their educational and career goals.

- Writing a resume and cover letter workshop
- Interview prep workshop
- Mock interviews
- Organizational skills/ time management
- Learning to ask for what you need - communication & assertiveness
- Counseling
- Individual One-On-One Counseling
- Requires Appointment With Counselor
- Students can meet with a counselor for academic, personal, and/ or career development
advising

community empowerment, enhance confidence, civic pride, and tolerance.
