PJ Butta

PJ Butta has been a familiar voice on So Cal radio stations since 1993.

The University of La Verne alum got his first break working in Promotions at KKBT "The Beat" in Los Angeles and was quickly promoted to On Air Personality, working nights for 13 years. PJ has also worked on air at KCAQ in Oxnard and KKHT "Hot 92.3" in LA, and currently can be heard doing afternoons 3p-7p on 93.5 KDAY.

PJ says, "How cool is it to have a professor who is actually on the radio? I never had that when I was in school and that's why I teach. It's my way to give back and teach students the necessary skills required to get a job in radio today. I just hope it's not mine lol."

PJ Butta has been teaching at Mt. SAC since 2005.
