Recommend a Student to the Honors Program

 

If you have a Faculty tab on your portal:

1. Log in to your Mt. SAC portal.
2. Click on the Faculty tab.
3. Select Refer Students to the Honors Program on the right-hand side near the bottom.

4. Select Recommend by Student ID (for any past or current student) and enter the student's ID number, OR Recommend by Class Roster (for teaching faculty who want to recommend students who are currently in their classes) and select students on the roster list you would like to recommend, then click submit.

If you do not have a Faculty tab on your portal:

1. Log in to your Mt. SAC portal.
2. Click on the Advisor tab.
3. Click on Recommend Students to the Honors Program located currently at the bottom of the menu options.
4. Enter the student ID number of the student you want to recommend.
5. Confirm that the student listed is the one you entered, then click yes.
