Program Overview
The program is built around a review of each child’s ability. We then create teaching models to meet individual needs. We also use tools to help identify group/class trends, and changes are made as needed.
The Child Development Center serves as the laboratory school for the college’s Child Development Department. Child development professors supervise Mt. San Antonio College students as they observe, discuss and write about the children enrolled in the Center. They may also interact with the children in an effort to develop the student-teacher classroom management skills.
Any information collected for college instruction is confidential and used only by professors and students in conjunction with Child Growth and Development classes only.
