Writing Support Services

Our Writing Center Team is standing by to assist students with their reading and writing skill-building. We believe that successful writers, whether beginning or more experienced, benefit from discussing their work with an engaged and supportive audience. Therefore, we are here to help Mt. SAC writers at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming on a topic, to drafting that first version, to revising the final product. We cannot wait to discuss your goals, review your work with you, and help you take your next steps.

You can schedule appointments for online or in-person tutoring via our platform, EAB Navigate, or drop-in to our center on campus for walk-ins (although these are not guaranteed, so we do recommend appointments). Sessions are 30 minutes or an hour, depending on your needs.  We will accommodate more than one appointment in a day if capacity allows it, but we encourage you to work independently between sessions, applying what was learned during the prior session. You are welcome to use our on campus computer lab to do so. Come on in, we cannot wait to work with you.
