Veteran-Specific Educational Counseling

Not sure how to chart your path to your academic and career goals? Need help in creating your educational plan? Do you just need someone to talk to? The Mt. SAC VRC has dedicated Vet Counselors available to military-connected students to provide personal, academic and career counseling!

We Can Help You:
- Choose a major and/or goal
- Learn strategies to be successful in your classes
- Create a GI Bill-specific Mountie Academic Plan (MAP) with all the courses you need to complete your goal

*NOTE: VRC Counselors are available via email at vrccounselors@mtsac.edu - when emailing VRC Counselors, please include your Mt. SAC Student ID number in the body of your correspondence.

Counseling Sessions

The Mt. SAC VRC is offering in-person and online services to military-connected students. Online Vet Counseling services provides students the opportunity to interact with a Vet Counselor in an online environment.

VRC students may select one of three ways* (in-person, via phone, or via video) to interact with a VRC Counselor (please ensure you are utilizing Google Chrome as your web browser before making your selection):

*NOTE: To keep our community safer as we expand classes and services on campus, Mt. SAC requires that all students and employees ON CAMPUS be fully vaccinated OR be tested weekly for COVID-19.
