Character List
- Catherine Givings – wife of Dr. Givings and mother to Letitia, a woman in her late twenties and full of life, but sexually frustrated with her marriage.
- Dr. Givings – Catherine's husband, a man in his forties and a specialist in gynecological and hysterical disorders.
- Sabrina Daldry – Dr. Givings' patient, a pianist in her early thirties struggling with hysteria and infertility.
- Leo Irving – Another patient of Dr. Givings', an English artist in his twenties or thirties.
- Annie – Dr. Givings' midwife assistant, a woman in her late thirties.
- Elizabeth – A housekeeper, and later wet nurse, in her early thirties.
- Dick Daldry – Sabrina Daldry's husband, a man in his forties or fifties.
Setting: The play takes place in upstate New York during the late 19th century at the home of Dr. Givings and his wife at the dawn of the Age of Electricity and explores the bizarre, but REAL, fact that doctors used vibrators to treat “hysteria” in women (and some men) and how this affects their marriage. -
Auditions: Monday, February 26th from 5pm - 10pm
Room: Studio Theater 2T-130AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: We will be cold reading sides from the play. Sides will be available ahead of time on the Theater Call Board and Department Website.

Please prepare a comedic 32bar cut of a song. Bring a copy of your audition cut for the piano accompanist in a binder. Check to make sure your sheet music is marked clearly and you know what tempo to communicate with the accompanist. Accompanist provided.CALLBACKS will be held Thursday, Feb. 29th 7-10pm.
