External Scholarships

External Scholarships (also called off -campus scholarships) are not affiliated with the Mt.SAC Scholarship program or the Office of Financial Aid.  There are many ways for students to find these scholarships, but it takes time to search and apply for them. Each scholarship has different requirements and deadlines, so review the application information carefully.

Submitting more applications increases your chances of receiving a scholarship.

Be cautious of scholarship scams: Avoid companies that guarantee or promise scholarships, charge fees for aid, claim you are a finalist but request money, or ask for your credit card or bank account information.
