The JRCERT promotes academic excellence, patient safety and quality healthcare through the accreditation of educational programs. Programs accredited by the JRCERT must demonstrate compliance with the relevant JRCERT accreditation standards: Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography. The following information is intended to make students aware of the JRCERT STANDARDS and provide information on to how to resolve allegations of non-compliance. The program maintains a record of complaints and their resolution.

Reporting Allegations of Noncompliance
Individuals associated with the program have the right to submit allegations against
a JRCERT-accredited program if there is reason to believe the program has acted contrary
to JRCERT accreditation standards and policies or believes conditions at the program
appear to jeopardize the quality of instruction or general welfare
of its students. The allegations must reference the specific accreditation standards/objectives
with which you believe the program to be in non-compliance.
Important Notes for Reporting Allegations
The JRCERT cannot advocate on behalf of any one student. An investigation into allegations
of noncompliance addresses only the program’s compliance with accreditation standards
and will not affect the status of any individual student. The investigation process
may take several months. The JRCERT will not divulge the identity of any complainant(s)
unless required to do so through legal process.
Reporting Process
Before submitting allegations directly to the JRCERT, the student must first attempt
to resolve the complaint directly with the Program Director or the Technology and
Health Division Dean by following the due process or grievance procedures provided
by the program or college. Refer to the Student Complaint and Grievance Process for more information on the college grievance process.
Any allegations of noncompliance with the JRCERT standards should be reported to:

If the student is unable to resolve the complaint with the Program Director or Division
Dean, or
believes the concerns have not been properly addressed, the student may submit allegations
of noncompliance

The JRCERT Allegations Reporting Form must be completed and sent to the above address with required supporting materials. All submitted documentation must be legible. Forms submitted without a signature or the required supporting material will not be considered. If a complainant fails to submit appropriate materials as requested, the complaint will be closed.
The Higher Education Opportunities Act of 2008, as amended, provides that a student, graduate, faculty or any other individual who believes he or she has been aggrieved by an educational program or institution has the right to submit documented allegation(s) to the agency accrediting the institution or program.
