I earned my B.A. in Pure Mathematics from California State University of Fullerton
in 2003. I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California at Riverside
in 2009 and served two post-doctoral study positions at UCR working with the Fractal
Geometry and Dynamical Systems Research Group (under M. Lapidus) from 2009 to 2012.
I started at Mt SAC as a part time Mathematics instructor in 2012 and was hired as
a full-time professor in 2014. I have always loved teaching and was so passionate
about it that I left a research career to pursue it. I enjoy teaching every level
of class that we offer at Mt SAC from Math 50 up to 285. Our students here are the
best and I genuinely feel that I have the best job on the planet.
