The Mountie Makerspace facility will hold an opening for its inaugural art exhibit, "Making Art," on Thursday, Feb. 8, 5 to 7 p.m., at the Makerspace building, building F7. The exhibit, which runs Feb. 8 - 17, is free and open to the public.
Mt. San Antonio College will offer free financial aid assistance to area high school seniors and their parents during its annual "Cash for College" fair on Saturday, Feb. 3. The event will include three sessions starting at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11:30 a.m.
More than 500 are expected for the 2018 Youth Career Career Expo co-sponsored by Mt. San Antonio College and Los Angeles County Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services on Friday, Feb. 2, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Mt. SAC campus. This event is free and open to the public.
With the addition of three recently approved bachelor’s degree programs, Mt. San Antonio College now offers a total of nine bachelor’s degree programs designed to help Mt. SAC graduates get on the fast track to completing a four-year degree.
At its annual organizational meeting on Dec. 13, the Mt. San Antonio College Board of Trustees elected Dr. Manuel Baca as president, Robert Hidalgo as vice president, and Jay Chen as clerk. They will serve one-year terms, effective immediately.
