President Bill Scroggins is the recent recipient of the Atta Bear award, which was given to him by the VOICES Committee for his ongoing support of employee recognition.
Mt. SAC strives to provide as safe a campus environment as possible in conjunction with the college’s Department of Police and Campus Safety, Student Life, Risk Management, Health Services, and Marketing and Communications.
The campus will be closed in observation of Presidents' Day on Friday, Feb. 16 (Lincoln's birthday) and Monday, Feb. 19, (Washington's birthday). Mt. SAC's spring semester begins Monday, Feb. 26.
Mt. SAC computer facilities coordinator Bill Rawlings was recently appointed to the California Community Colleges Board of Governors by Gov. Jerry Brown.
