Dance Department

The renowned Mt. SAC Dance Program is enhanced by its award-winning faculty and state of the art facilities, including updated theaters and studios for dance and Pilates.

Students can prepare to transfer to a four-year university as well as earn an associate of arts (AA) degree in dance, a dance teacher certificate, or Pilates professional teacher training certificates. Classes are available for everyone from beginners to pre-professional students in a wide-range of genres.

Two main stage concerts give students hands-on and professional performing opportunities with industry professionals. The Mt. SAC program is well known throughout the state and actively participates at American College Dance Association conferences.
