The Aircraft Maintenance Technology program is one of the oldest technology programs currently in operation at Mt. San Antonio College. Mt. SAC is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration to train new technicians to enter the industry as a general aviation technician, a corporate aircraft technician, or as a commercial aircraft technician.

There are two programs to choose from: a day program that can be completed in two years or, for working individuals, an evening program that can also be completed in two years. Our faculty and staff consist of professionals experienced in general aviation, rotor craft (helicopters), commercial aviation, and corporate aircraft maintenance.

Students train with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring the best possible chance for success in the workplace. In fact, our graduates’ FAA certification test score results are consistently higher than the national average, and in a recent survey 100% of the responding graduates were employed in the field.
