• Students will be able to analyze the impact of Proposition 13 on changes in property ownership and exclusions, demonstrating an understanding of its effects on taxation and real estate transactions.
• Students will be able to compare and contrast the four primary forms of real property ownership—sole ownership, tenancy in common, joint tenancy, and community property—by identifying key characteristics, legal implications, and ownership rights in each type.
