As a nationally-ranked community college, Mt. SAC offers students the full college experience without the full college debt. After taking only 3 classes with experienced faculty, students can sit for the California Real Estate Salespersons Examination.
Quality Coursework
Prepare for the California Real Estate Salespersons Examination at Mt. San Antonio College, an accredited community college ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 7 in the country among the Best Vocational and Trade Colleges by Real Work Magazine. The Online Real Estate Sales certificate is 9 units (3 courses). Two of these classes are mandated: Real Estate Principles (BUSR 50) and Real Estate Practice (BUSR 52). The third class may be any real estate or real estate related course specified by The California Department of Real Estate. Students learn from industry-experienced faculty, and can choose to attend classes at the Mt. SAC campus or conveniently online. Learn more in the Academic Catalog.
Great Career Prospects
Students who complete the coursework are well prepared for the California Real Estate Salespersons Examination. Real estate sales agents help clients rent, buy and sell property. According to U.S. Department of Labor data, the median salary of real estate sales agents is $43,000 to $94,000 a year. There are 3,100 projected new jobs in that field each year in California. Affordable Cost
Many students think they can't afford college, but we make college a possibility for everyone. At just $46 a unit, Mt. SAC is 1/5 the cost of CSU schools, 1/10 the cost of UC schools, and 1/30 the cost of private universities. Classes are highly affordable at just $46 a unit.
