Professor Naluce Manuela has over 20 years of job experience in the biological/ public health sciences fields in many local, national and international capacities. Her fluency in several languages has given her the opportunity to work in multicultural and multilingual settings throughout her extensive career. Professor Naluce Manuela has been at Mt. SAC since fall 2005. She also has taught at Glendale Community College for 10 years until spring 2016 when she became a full time health & biology professor for Mt. SAC. She currently teaches Bio 24 Introduction to Public Health, Bio 1 General Biology (lecture and lab), Bio 15 Human Sexuality, Bio 5 Contemporary Health Issues, and in the past she taught Anat 50 Basic Anatomy and Physiology. In 2011, she had the extraordinary honor of being awarded by Mt. SAC Academic Senate as the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty of the year. Besides teaching, professor Naluce Manuela loves to dance and sing karaoke with her friends. She enjoys hiking, camping and going to the beach to play fresco ball. Professor Naluce Manuela’s lovely mother (who suffers from Alzheimer’s) accompanies her to all her adventures.
