Carrie Miller has been a Professor of Chemistry at Mt. San Antonio since 2019, where she teaches Introduction to General Chemistry (chem 40) and General Chemistry (chem 50 and 51). She graduated summa cum laude from Wittenberg University in 2005 before earning her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 2010. As a graduate student, Miller won two awards for outstanding teaching (Rudolph E. Bottei Graduate Teaching Award and Outstanding Graduate Student Teacher Award for Excellence). She conducted research at Georgetown University from 2010-12 before joining the faculty at Azusa Pacific University. Miller taught General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry at APU from 2012-19.
