I am excited to be a part of the Mt. SAC EOPS/CARE family. I began my journey as a student in EOPS at Fullerton College, I transferred to UC Riverside and earned my BA in Sociology and completed a Master's program in Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. In between these academic achievements, I became a single parent and found the importance of meeting my educational goals, not only for myself, but to provide a brighter future for my son. As a single parent and full-time student, I faced many trials, and through each one I grew and endured, becoming the only person in my family with a Master's degree.
No matter where you are on your journey, know that you have an amazing story to tell,
and I am so blessed and honored to be a part of this experience with you. Each semester
brings opportunity to meet a new group of student's and hear your amazing stories.
I greatly enjoy learning about you, the students. We all come from different backgrounds
with different life experiences, goals and aspirations, and when students share their
success stories, it brings me great joy.
I am a mother to three amazing boys. My oldest son is a college graduate, and I have two toddlers. I love being a wife and mother, it is an absolute blessing to be able to raise my kids and work in this amazing environment.
My hobbies: kickboxing, swimming, photography and watching soccer!
I'm looking forward to a great semester and assisting you in reaching your academic goals!
