- Why is there a hold on my account?
A campus-wide hold that may restrict you from registering for classes and obtaining transcripts may be placed on your account for several different reasons by different areas on campus.
The Library, Learning Resources, and Distance Learning division may place such a hold for books or reading materials that are overdue beyond the normal policy (usually beyond 30 days).

- The book I checked out from the Library is lost or damaged, what do I do?
If loss or damages occur, students should contact the library staff and make arrangements to discuss possible resolutions with the Dean of the Library, Learning Resources, and Distance Learning Division or the Library Department Chair. Failure to do so may result in a campus-wide hold placed on your account, restricting you from, among other things, registering for courses or obtaining transcripts.
