Jessica Cardenas-Fuller oversees the Journalism program at Mt. SAC where she has served professionally since 2015. As the full-time journalism professor and student media adviser of SAC Media and Substance Magazine, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. With a strong background in communications and public relations within the energy and education industries, Jessica possesses a unique understanding of how to effectively convey information and engage audiences.
Notable accomplishments include spearheading successful communication and branding campaigns for major energy and education organizations, as well as receiving recognition for her outstanding contributions to student media. Prior to her current position, Jessica served as an academic counselor, where she had the opportunity to guide and support students in achieving their educational goals.
Her innovative teaching methods, combined with her practical industry experience, allow her to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the ever-evolving field of journalism and empower the next generation of storytellers.
