Board of Appeals Committee
Purpose & Function
The Board of Appeals Committee exists to provide an opportunity for students with extenuating circumstances to challenge policies and procedures that have a negative impact on them, and to act on cases involving special or irregular circumstances.
The function of the Appeals Committee is to:
- To review exceptions, e.g., governing probation, dismissal, residence requirements,
graduation requirements, the extension of incomplete grades, and financial aid.
- To act upon the authority to make exceptions as outlined in the Administrative Procedures.
