Vision Statement
The Ethnic Studies Department at Mt. San Antonio College strives to be regarded as a premier department across California Community Colleges. We aim to be viewed as leaders in culturally responsive teaching, course offerings, and services. We will help students meet their general education requirements for transfer, as well as prepare students who intend to transfer and earn bachelor's degrees in Ethnic Studies. We will provide access to quality instruction and mentorship, and empower students through educational excellence. We will earn this reputation by loving and caring for our students, and consistently exceeding the expectations of faculty, campus staff, administration, and our community.
