What is the Community Workforce Agreement?
The Community Workforce Agreement, or CWA, “establishes the Labor relations guidelines and procedures for the College and for the Contractors and craft employees represented by the Unions and engaged in Project Work” for Mt. SAC (CWA Page 3).

What Project Work is applicable to the CWA?
“Project Work shall be limited to construction work performed pursuant to a College-awarded Construction Contract that is paid for, in whole or in part, by Bond Measure RR or Measure GO funds”, meeting defined monetary project thresholds (CWA Section 3.2.1 – Page 7), and not otherwise listed as an exclusion (CWA Section 3.6 – Page 8).

What are the defined project thresholds?
“All Project work pursuant to prime multi-trade construction contracts that exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) and all subcontracts flowing from these prime multi-trade contracts; and all prime specialty contracts for Project Work that exceed one hundred thousand ($100,000), and all subcontracts flowing from these specialty contracts (CWA Section 3.2.1 – Page 6).”
