The Child Development – Early Intervention and Inclusion Associate in Science, provides a theoretical framework and practical experience developing skills necessary to work directly in preschool classrooms with children with special needs and/or Early Intervention Programs. Graduates can be employed at the teacher or master teacher level. The program develops students’ skills and abilities in observation and assessing, planning and executing activities for typical and atypical children, and classroom management based on developmentally appropriate practices. Degree requirements exceed the identified eight (8) courses for transfer by requiring additional practical experience and curriculum courses.
