SHIFTING DIRECTIONS: REDEFINING PAINTING
Four of the artists in the exhibition started their artistic life through graffiti. All eight formally studied at various colleges and universities the disciplines of illustration, graphic design and animation. Each shifted to a tradition of making paintings—art for the sake of art. This exhibition represents their paintings and an ongoing interest in commercial art practices.
