Prepare for a career in Computerized Accounting at Mt. The Computerized Accounting Certificate is 21 units (6 courses). The courses provides basic accounting skills and knowledge combined with additional training in computer applications common to the accounting industry. Great Career Prospects
Students who complete the coursework are well prepared for entry-level position as an accounting clerk that requires computer skills in areas such as utilization of accounting software, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory tracing/reporting, bank reconciliation, expense reporting, and account analysis. According to U.S. Department of Labor data, the median salary of accountants is $76,000 a year. There are 14,500 projected new jobs in that field each year in California. Affordable Cost
Many students think they can't afford college, but we make college a possibility for everyone. At just $46 a unit, Mt. SAC is 1/5 the cost of CSU schools, 1/10 the cost of UC schools, and 1/30 the cost of private universities. Classes are highly affordable at just $46 a unit.
