New Faculty Seminar
Usually in October, ACCESS faculty and staff present an hour long session at the New Faculty Seminar describing the services offered, present universal design strategies and to answer questions.
Classroom Presentations
ACCESS provides classroom presentations for Mt. SAC faculty upon request. These presentations will be customized to the professor's needs. Examples of presentation topics include ACCESS services, courses offered by ACCESS, common characteristics of students with learning disabilities, and legal issues surrounding disability services. To arrange for an individualized presentation contact the ACCESS Department Secretary Monica Jones.

Disability Celebration Month
Disability Celebration Month is typically held in October. A variety of activities
are planned throughout the month to celebrate the accomplishments of and to bring
awareness to barriers that commonly exist for individuals with disabilities.
