Computer Skills
ABE computer classes help students gain skills in various computer applications, internet web searching, emailing, and basic computer literacy. Students may also learn computer skills through self-study, with support provided by instructors and lab assistants. In addition, students can obtain Microsoft Office certificates by completing a series of computer tests that demonstrate acquired knowledge and proficiency of each program.
Software Classes We Offer:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Google Workspace
- Financial and Database Management (introduction to small business and database software, including QuickBooks and Excel)
- Intro to Graphic Design
How to Register for Computer Skills Classes
Registration for computer skills classes is ongoing.
- The first step is to complete the ABE Interest Form (below), and a member of our team will contact you to go over next steps.
- You will also need to complete the SCE Noncredit Application. Here is a guide to completing the application, or you can use our Zoom Tech option for one-on-one assistance.

ABE Interest Form
All of our courses and programs are free, however, there is an option to purchase a Mt. SAC Parking Permit for $55 in the Fall & Spring semesters and $30 during the Winter & Summer intersessions. Student IDs are also available for $10 each. As a result, the possible total cost of a program would be $65 in the Fall & Spring and $40 in the Winter & Summer.
